Social Innovators: Crazy Ideas College

Over 80 students from St. Josephs College, Clonard College and Geelong High School participated in the Social Innovators program last week.

Over the course of two days, students were tasked with developing unique and innovative ideas that help us care for our planet and enable more people to live healthy and connected lives.

Working in groups, with an emphasis on collaboration and sharing ideas, the students ideated around a real-world issue that they felt passionate about. After working through the Design Thinking process, they then presented their solutions to a panel of local entrepreneurs to finish off their time here.

“The CIC program allowed me to work on issues that I really care about with people I wouldn’t normally work with. The step-by-step guide and CIC experts really helped us a lot. It was surprising how many ideas people can come up with in such a short amount of time!” – Hamish, St Joseph’s College, Geelong.

Many thanks to Crazy Ideas College and the following who contributed to this great program.
