This term, our Make and Learn program welcomed five primary and secondary teachers from across the Geelong region.
Teachers were given the opportunity to select technologies they would like to focus on based on their contexts.
Over the first four weeks, participants were introduced to CAD, 3D printing, VR visualisations, 2D design and laser cutting. In the final weeks, teachers engaged in pedagogical conversations, reflecting on their current curriculum and identifying opportunities for technology integration. They aimed to complete a project which met curriculum expectations and a new technology they experienced. They could then share these new ideas with curriculum teams at their schools.
