About the Presenter
Andrew is a dedicated educator and inventor known for his innovative approaches to instilling a passion for mathematics. He started his career teaching in government and independent schools across different age groups. Andrew’s restless creativity led him to venture into entrepreneurship, where he developed projects such as Think Square (maths games), Mirrogram (reflective clothing line), and Skillhouettes (motor skill app) to empower students.
His work has been recognized by media outlets like LightFM and The Age, and he’s contributed as a puzzle writer for COSMOS magazine. Additionally, Andrew has collaborated with organisations like Cricket Australia, showcasing his commitment to creating engaging learning experiences. He currently focuses on running workshops and professional development sessions, emphasising the joy and creativity inherent in mathematical exploration.
