In addition to our Ambassador, After School, and Holiday programs, there are some other opportunities for you to get involved here at the Geelong Tech School.

Podcast Studio

Our brand new podcast studio is set up with everything you need to create your own podcast. The room has availability for four people, but has the functionality to call in special guests over the phone. Also built-in are cameras so you can turn your podcast into a pre-recorded vodcast, or even make it a live stream.

The podcast studio is available for bookings for interested groups from all our partner schools. An induction to the room and equipment will be provided.

VEX robotics

The VEX EDR Competition is an international robotics competition held from local, through to international levels. The Geelong Tech School has the capacity to provide support and access to robots as well as the playing fields to prepare for competition

Teams would meet weekly after school at the Geelong Tech School to design, build and code their robots. VEX robots and computer equipment will be provided as well as mentoring from Tech School staff.
