The Geelong Tech School, in partnership with Crazy Ideas College, recently hosted Northern Bay College and Geelong High School for a two-day Social Innovators program.
Students worked collaboratively to design services and products to enrich the lives of others. Students worked through a series of workshops using the design thinking process connecting empathy, social awareness and applying entrepreneurial skills to enact changes in their communities.
Students were able to pitch their ideas to local business owners and leaders within the community. They received both positive feedback and direction in developing their ideas and their plan of action moving forward.
