Regional Rail Revival Challenge

What might our smart, connected regional cities look like in 30 years’ time?

The Regional Rail Revival Design Challenge 2050 invites young people to think outside the box and share their ideas for the future of rail.

We would like to support partner schools and students who are keen to participate in this challenge developed in line with Victoria’s Big Build and facilitated in partnership with the Federal Government. The four regional Tech Schools will support partner schools to take part in this state-wide competition.

The competition is being hosted locally by the Geelong Tech School with finalists going into the State-Wide Final Pitch in Term 4.

For those interested, there is a teachers information session this Thursday the 12th at 4.30.

Please register using the password ‘DesignChallenge2050’ through this link.

The Regional Rail Revival Design Challenge was trialled with Bendigo Tech School last year. At the teachers’ information session interested schools will gain access to a range of teaching and learning resources.

Please contact Brenton Logan for any further information.
