Module 3 – Bee Behaviour (UB)

Class Discussion

Much of a bee’s behaviour is influenced by the weather.  When it’s cold they hide in the hive and keep the hive temperatures above 10°C. And when it rains they find shelter to protect their wings. When it’s hot they cool the hive keeping it below 20°C, and they use the direction of the sun to find pollen and so on.
