Geelong Future Leaders of Industry (GFLOI) is a leadership-focused immersion program for Year 9, 10, and 11 students, designed to inspire the next generation of industry leaders in the Geelong region.

The program introduces students to a broad range of professional and trade pathways across sectors such as engineering, design, technology, and industrial innovation. GFLOI encourages students to explore how leadership, creativity, and strategic thinking play a vital role in shaping the future of industry.

Delivered in partnership with the Geelong Manufacturing Council, GFLOI offers students:

  • Exclusive access to leading businesses through industry tours and presentations, showcasing diverse career opportunities and leadership roles within industrial sectors.
  • Training in job readiness and leadership development to build confidence, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Opportunities to engage with inspiring role models including engineers, scientists, business leaders, and senior managers from some of Geelong’s most forward-thinking companies.

GFLOI is about cultivating leadership potential and helping students envision themselves as future innovators, decision-makers, and changemakers in industry.
