Maree Herath
Director of Harvest Talent Recruitment
Maree was awarded Geelong Business Leader of the Year and has owned Harvest HR since 2009. Her background includes 30 years’ experience in industry, predominantly in the provision of recruitment and HR services across, Melbourne, Perth and Hong Kong with international recruitment firm, Hudson. Maree is keen to share insights on the local job market;  where STEM jobs will be in the future, what makes a good candidate and what a recruiter actually does.
Justin Thompson
Director of Workforce Extensions Geelong
Justin started his career in the recruitment industry in 2005, holding a diploma in Business and an Advanced Diploma in HR. He has an extensive background in Business Development, Employment Consulting, HR Management, and Executive Recruitment. Justin is also a strong advocate for mental health awareness, serving as a host for Mr Perfect Men’s Mental Health and as a board member for Voice FM. Beyond his professional pursuits, Justin is an active sports enthusiast. He enjoys playing cricket and football and has completed multiple marathons. This reflects his perseverance and goal-oriented mindset. Justin will also share insights on the local job market from entry level, trades and executive level while explaining the need for every student to understand STEM subjects regardless their plans.
