Museums inspire us through interpretation, empathy and innovative design – skills and abilities in high demand in today’s world.

Imagine using design and art practices in an exciting virtual exhibition setting. Students will follow a design brief pitched by the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI). Students work in teams to conceptualise, design and produce a virtual exhibit to be included in a public exhibition later in the year. They will develop their interpersonal skills and capabilities as well as their art practice using 3D modelling, prototyping and VR design.

Throughout the core program, students will develop key skills in creative design and project submission processes being managed and procured through ACMI. For those students interested in digital design for VCE, this program may provide insights into what they could incorporate and present in a VCE student folio.
