Through a scientific and technological lens, we’ve found that all modern and future jobs require understanding many technologies. It turns out that our visit to Victoria Police and V/Line found some not-so-well-known roles that students might find interesting.
At V/Line, electrical trades and electrical engineers will always find a well-regarded place. Less well-known roles include network administration, cybersecurity operations, and asset maintenance. Victoria Police use a vast amount of technology to support their people in the field, detect and solve crime and ensure evidence is solidly supported. Besides being a police officer, there are opportunities to become a protective services officer (PSO), a police custody officer (PCO), or a Victorian Public Service (VPS) employee.
We also toured William Angliss Institute, where the flight attendant training section featured real aircraft seats!
