Equipment Booking Form

1. General Overview
1.1 By borrowing equipment from Geelong Tech School ("the School"), you ("the Borrower") agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
1.2 All equipment remains the property of Geelong Tech School and must be returned upon the agreed date.

2. Eligibility
2.1 Only approved individuals or organizations directly associated with Geelong Tech School activities are eligible to borrow equipment.
2.2 Borrowers must provide valid identification and contact details when submitting a loan request.

3. Borrower Responsibilities
3.1 Borrowers are responsible for the proper care and safe use of the equipment during the loan period.
3.2 Equipment must not be altered, tampered with, or repaired by the Borrower.
3.3 Borrowers must notify the School immediately if equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged.
3.4 The Borrower assumes full financial responsibility for any loss or damage to the equipment during the loan period.

4. Loan Period
4.1 The loan period will be specified at the time of approval and must not exceed the agreed-upon duration without prior consent from the School.
4.2 Late returns may result in penalties, including fees or restrictions on future borrowing privileges.

5. Usage Restrictions
5.1 Equipment is to be used solely for the purpose specified in the loan request and must comply with the School’s policies.
5.2 Equipment must not be used for unlawful or inappropriate activities.
5.3 The Borrower must not lend the equipment to a third party.

6. Inspection and Maintenance
6.1 Borrowers must inspect equipment upon receipt and report any pre-existing issues before use.
6.2 Upon return, equipment will be inspected by the School to ensure it is in the same condition as when loaned.

7. Liability
7.1 The School is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred while using the borrowed equipment.
7.2 Borrowers agree to indemnify the School against any claims arising from their use of the equipment.

8. Penalties for Non-Compliance
8.1 Failure to return equipment, return it in working order, or comply with these terms may result in:

Replacement or repair costs charged to the Borrower.

Suspension of borrowing privileges.

Legal action if necessary.

9. Termination of Agreement
9.1 The School reserves the right to terminate a loan agreement at any time if terms are breached or if equipment is required for urgent use.

10. Agreement Acknowledgment
10.1 By signing the loan form, the Borrower acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
